Customer Reviews
Consistently reliable pickups
I've bought from IronGear a few times now. This latest order was for a set of Steel Twin Telecaster pickups. Like always, the order was smooth and delivery to the US was reasonable, took about 8 days to reach me in California. The pickups sound great, very consistent with the quality I've come to expect from them. They always deliver on their promise of good tone without breaking the bank. That's why I keep coming back.
Great value on a humbucker set
I was looking for some new humbuckers and saw IronGear had a bundle deal for their Tesla Shark humbucker set. The price was really good compared to buying individual pickups. I was a bit hesitant since I hadn't tried their pickups before, but the reviews seemed positive. They arrived in about ten days, which isn't bad for international shipping. Installation was easy and the sound is powerful, exactly what I needed for my heavier stuff. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth with this set.
Decent upgrade for my Strat
So I grabbed some Pig Iron Stratocaster pickups last month. My old ones were kinda muddy, you know? These new ones really cleaned things up. Shipping wasn't super speedy, but it wasn't terrible either. I think it took around two weeks to get to me, which is fine for something coming from overseas. Installation was straightforward enough, and the sound is definitely better. Happy with the purchase overall.
Good pickups, fast delivery
Got a Dirty Torque humbucker. Arrived quickly. Installed it, sounds good. Noticeable upgrade from my old one. Easy process. Will buy again.
Solid value, minor wait
I ordered a Blues Engine humbucker for a project guitar. The price was really competitive, especially compared to some of the bigger names. The pickup itself sounds excellent, a clear improvement for the bridge position. My only small gripe was the delivery time; it took just over two weeks to arrive. It wasn't a rush order, so not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if you're on a tight schedule. Everything was well-packaged, and the pickup came with all the necessary mounting hardware. Good value, just factor in shipping time.

Are IronGear pickups any good compared to, say, Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio? The prices seem really low, so I'm a bit skeptical. Don't want to get something that sounds muddy.
Hey, thinking about grabbing some IronGear humbuckers. Does anyone know if they ship to the US? And what's the typical wait time if they do?
